"Thriller"

Our AWESOME weekend in St. George at "Thriller". This last weekend me, my two sister in laws and my mother in law all went down to Thriller for MerriLynn's early birthday. What a great time we had I wish it wouldn't have went by so fast. We left home Friday afternoon about 1:30 p.m. and arrived in St. George about 5:30 p.m. with a stop in Cedar City at Roberts Craft of course you always have to shop on the way. Then we got ready and went to see "Thriller" fabulous absolutely amazing to say the least. I think the whole time my jaw was on the floor other than when I was screaming because of the Zombies. I had heard alot about Thriller and everything I had heard was so awesome but you just cannot put into words how amazing those dancers really are. I soooo wish I could dance like them they have a real talent thats for sure. Well after "Thriller" we went to find some dinner and really the only places open at that time are fast food so we stopped at the ICEBURG drive inn. It was pretty good food but the Pumpkin shake Kaycie got for us to share was even better. After dinner we went to our room and went to bed to prepare for our shopping spree on Saturday. Saturday we shopped the entire day I just happened to wake up at the crack of dawn so Kaycie said and so I just decided to get ready and go shop. Why sleep in when there is shopping to be done. No lie we shopped the entire day so much I think we wore Kaycie out. Anyways I just wanted to tell the girls THANKS for a great weekend we need to do that more often. It was soooo much fun.
See I told you they just jump out of no where. Scared the heck out of me. Kaycie was my bodygaurd I couldn't let go they are so CREEPY.
A few of the Zombies hanging around waiting to jump out at the noisiest person or the most scared. lol

MerriLynn had to have her picture with Loraina Bobett. She was AWESOME!
After the show was over we got the chance to get our pictures with some of the ZOMBIES. They are really good at their job. As you can tell I am scared out of my mind and after this picture the kid on the left snuck up behind me and SCARED the holy heck out of me. You cannot turn your back or they show up unexpectedly.
This group right here was probably my favorite act of the nite. They were FABULOUS girl was soooo AMAZING I think she could bend in every direction possible and most of the time I thought she would brake. She looked like a rag doll flopping around on the floor.

Here Januari and I are getting attacted by this CREEPY Zombie. She just kept following us and the more we would SCREAM the more she would do it. But oh my heck it is so hard not too.

During the intermission we all had to go to the POTTY so we decided while we were out and about we would take a funny picture.

Here we are waiting for the show to begin. We were soooo excited I heard all kinds of stories about Thriller.

This is the beginning of our AWESOME night at "Thriller". I was a little bit scared about the ZOMBIES because of the stories that Kayla had been telling me at work. So first thing as we walked through the gates at Thriller we are met by a Zombies SCARY!!! Me, MerriLynn, Januari and Kaycie is taking the picture.

"Fall Leaves"

Jake and JaKelle are throwing the leaves all over each other and scattering them all over. I wonder when Jarrett is going to get sick of this and give up on raking leaves.Jake and JaKelle jumping in Jarrett's pile of leaves.
Jake found his own fun this day. Jarrett worked really hard in the back yard trying to get all of the leaves cleaned up but it's a never ending story at our house we have two HUGE trees in our back yard and they seem to lose leaves everyday you can never keep up. Jarrett sure tries until Jake and JaKelle decide to make a mess of his pile and boy does he get mad when he gets home from school.
Jarrett is barying Waylon by pushing the leaves all over him with a broom. He plays so good with Waylon and he is such a good little tender. He always wants to help with him and take care of him.

Jake, JaKelle and Waylon playing in the leaves at grandpa and grandma Sorenson's. They wanted us to make piles for them so they could make a mess. As you can tell they were having a blast throwing the leaves in the air and making a mess.
Jarrett pushing the leaves at Grandpa and Grandma Sorenson's house. Jarrett has been begging us to buy him a rake he loves to rake the leaves into a big pile then he can jump in them and bary himself or have Jake and JaKelle bary him. But if somebody tries to jump in his pile before he is done he gets way mad at them.

Fall is Here "Spike Elk Hunting Season"

Jarrett is quite the hunter he absolutely loves being in the mountains and riding his horse Spider. We got up at 5:15 am the opening day of the spike hunt and had to be at my mom and dads house by 6:00 am. Jarrett was up and ready to go in no time because he was so excited. We got to mom and dads house and to my surprise my dad wasn't ready to go yet. So we got the horses saddled and loaded and headed down the road. Well, every hunting trip Jarrett has been on his dad has always stopped at Maverik for a treat first, so of course he told Grandpa Payne he needed to go to Maverik for a treat and all he wanted was a Sprite and Starburst great treat for such an early morning huh. This year my dad took me spike elk hunting because Landon was hunting Buffalo down on the Henry Mountains so what a fun day for both of us. We we had a great day I had the chance to see several spike elk and to say the least I am not the best shot since I only shoot one time a year and thats the spike elk hunt so it took several sightings for me to finally KILL and elk . Jarrett had about enough elk hunting for one day we hike his butt off kept sitting down in the middle of the trails until dad and I got a little ways out of his sight then he decided to jump up and catch up I don't blame him because it was a pretty long day and he was way tired. All he wanted to do was ride his horse but after the long hike and such a long day of elk hunting he could hardly stay awake Spider is a pretty good rocking horse. But it was great and we were successful on the FIRST DAY!!
Thanks to my GREAT dad for skinning my elk I am into hunting but not really into skinning and gutting them. I can't even hardly stand helping hold it because it is still warm. But my dad has done plenty of skinning and it doesn't seem to even bother him at all. Here dad is sharpening his knife to get ready for the skinning and Jarrett is taking it all in learning everything there is to know about sharpening a knife and of course asking LOTS of guestions. He is so smart!!
This is me and Jarrett posing for the camera after the one kill shot of my spike. I'm trying to hide the other side because the eye ball is almost out and it is kind of grose. We had to drag him over some logs and down a hill a little ways to get him on a flat spot. "Dad said he thought I would have found a better place to kill and elk with all the ones he showed me this was the worst place."

Here dad and Jarrett are finishing up the skinning and getting ready to load the elk on the pack horse. Jarrett is very interested in learning all there is about everthing he is getting SMARTER and SMARTER by the day. He is and AWESOME kid!!!!
Packing the spike out on the horses.
Jarrett and Spider anxious to get back to the truck, Jarrett trying hard to stay awake.
